Whether you are a
tourist from a distant country or a Lebanese, you will find that
Nature Reserves in Lebanon are exciting places to visit. You may
want to opt for a swim in the sea, or hike through the forests, go
bird watching, or discover a multitude of rare flowers. You can
admire the blue waters around the islands on a boat tour, or just
sit under the majestic cedars.
Whatever you choose
to do, keep in mind that the Nature Reserves have been established
to be enjoyed by generations to come. For that purpose the visitor
is asked to abide by the following rules:
1.
Visit the
Reserves only at the times and places permitted for the public.
Other visits must obtain authorization.
2. Guard
against all risk of fire! Do not light campfires or throw
cigarettes.
3. Protect
plants and wildlife! Stay on the trails, do not pick flowers, or
damage trees. Hunting (fishing) or trapping animals is forbidden.
4. Enjoy the
peace and tranquillity. Noise disturbs wildlife, so don't shout
and leave your stereo in the car.
5. Leave no
litter! Garbage is disfiguring and can cause fires or injuries to
wildlife.
6.
Follow the directions of the rangers at all times.
